Hello boys. I am just wondering what the numbers will be like if the final sale price of the tlx is $37,000 msrp $45,750 (a-spec red awd v6) 36/10 top tier credit with just firstmonth and dmv, everything else rolled in. I would appreciate if there is a snapshot of the numbers that i could use as a reference. How much will the monthly be? Thank you

$400/mo +tax with that selling price.

If you roll all that into the CAP cost, I get $437/mo.+tax

I see. She told me that the monthly is $439/month but I have to pay all those fees upfront which is almost $1700. I still its a little high the price. Wondering if this deal is good already.

Thoughts on this deal in South East Michigan for a Acura TLX 4 cylinder with tech package. 36 month, 10k miles per year. First time leaser, so i am not sure if this is a good price or if it can go lower.

Are the Money Factor and Residuals ok for the region?

    Negotiated Lease Price: $30,372.51
    Acquisition Fee: $595.00
    Net Capitalized Cost: $30,967.51

    Depreciation Amount: $11,389.51
    Monthly Payment: $343.67

    Due at Signing: ($364.29 + $270): $634.29

There is $5875 of lease incentives available on the Tech package, so the discount from sticker is just over $1400. I think there is more room on the price.

I agree with the math, using .00054 MF and 52% residual.

We don't track pricing, so we don't know how much lower the price can go. Figure $28/mo off the payment for every $1000 you shave off the net cap cost.

If so, they are only $10/mo. higher than what I calculate.

Thanks - Quote was the lowest among 4 dealers and dealer wouldn't budge on price(only 2 in stock); They offered 2 year free Oil Change with loaners and All Season Mats. Likely going to close the deal tomorrow.

Given that the MSRP is $37,665 and invoice is $35,813 (a difference of $1,852), I thought that would be a pretty decent deal (with the incentives as well). Are you hearing of dealers sell these below invoice (before incentives kick in)?

For the record, my negotiated selling price was $30,412.

Hello, can I please get the RV, MF and incentives for a TLX w/Tech & Advance packages, sticker roughly $44,700 for zip 10510? I am looking at 36/10 or 36/7.5 if that's an option.

    Thanks!

Was your price excluding the Acquisition Fee?

I'd be curious to know if anyone has got a sub $30K price on the 2.4 with the Tech Package.

Here in SE Michigan bigger discounts were on offer for the A-Spec or the v6 ( around $3,000 after incentives) after incentives ; Not much was on offer for 2.4 Cyl.

    Hey,

I have a quote for $359 per month plus tax with $3k down. I know this isnt the best of offers. They are saying the selling price is $36k. Its for a 2018 Acura TLX V6 AWD with Tech Package. The lease terms are 36 month and 15k miles a year. I live in MA, zip code 02090 for dealership.

I was wondering how do I bring them down in price? I am assuming this price is without the incentive mentioned of $5875. How would I get them to apply this?

Lastly, if there is a formula or someway of benchmarking what a good lease price would be.

    Thank you!

I would assume the opposite... that they've already incorporated the incentives in their offer.
Not sure I'd call that an offer, it's just an advertisement.

A lot of posts in this discussion... do a lot of reading, and see what others are paying.

If that's the case, then what is the basis for suggesting that we should be able to negotiate to something more than the $1,400 below MSRP that seems to be common for those of us working on a 4.2L w/Tech package lease? Is MSRP, less 7% of MSRP, a good rule of thumb in terms of the selling price (before incentives)? Just trying to become as educated as possible when in the market for a new car.

    Thank you!

As a rule of thumb, always assume that a dealer's sale price includes all applicable incentives. Here are some suggestions when contacting dealers for quotes. Ask for the following information:

    1. The MSRP of the car will normally be listed on the dealer's website, but always make sure pricing is based off the car you are interested in.
    2. Request the sale price of the car before any lease incentives (This will help you figure out what the dealer discount is, before any lease incentives)
    3. Request they list any lease incentives (This will allow you to compare their numbers with the numbers posted here)
    4. Inquire whether the lease payment include all fees such as acquisition fee, dealer doc fees, registration fees (etc...)
    5. Always make sure the dealer lists out all the fees. Dealer doc fees are the biggest revenue stream for dealerships, so make sure you account for that when negotiating a sale price.
    6. Once you get some lease numbers, you can use one of the lease calculators available out there to compare your numbers with the dealer's numbers. If their numbers do not add up, ask them to provide MF, Residual value and cap cost numbers.

If a dealer is not forthcoming with information, move onto another dealer.

This will help you become an educated buyer and will ensure you do not get ripped off or taken for a ride.

We don't track pricing, so can't help you with what's possible.

We don't track pricing, but we do read every comment in this discussion.... and, $1400 doesn't look all that great, in comparison.
Just to be clear, total discount with incentives was $7,253 (from the $37,650 MSRP). Anyway, it seems pretty good to me (based on what I've read here lately) - and most importantly the value I got here far exceeds what I was about to pay for a 2018 Accord EX-L 2.0T).

I would assume the opposite... that they've already incorporated the incentives in their offer.
Not sure I'd call that an offer, it's just an advertisement.

A lot of posts in this discussion... do a lot of reading, and see what others are paying.
To get you started - In my area , you can get this down to $34,500 after incentives ( Additional $2K dealer discount) . I would shoot for deals closer to this price

I think what @kyfdx means is that we are seeing higher discounts post incentives based on some posts - From what i can tell this is true for the A-Spec, V6 or Advance packages.

I am yet to see dealer discounts close to $2,000 for the 2.4 cycl Tech Package here or elsewhere so far .
