I'm in the process of negotiating a Volvo T6 Momentum 4dr All-Wheel Drive for 10k/36mo. The dealer is telling me the residual value is 55%. Could you please confirm both the residual value and the money factor?
The initial offer is as follows:
MSRP: $51,940 Dealer Price: $50,940 Trade Allowance: $12,500 Trade Payoff: $8,653.58 Doc Fee: $75 Non Tax Fee: $22.50 No down payment New York / Tax: $1,910.19
The monthly provided by the dealer comes to $664.00, which seems high against what I am calculating. Any guidance would be appreciated. Thank you!

.00006 and 55%; $800 lease bonus.
$200 off sticker seems kind of low.
How is the trade equity being handled? We suggest you use it for the first month and registration costs only, and have the dealer cut you a check for the balance. Further, add the taxes and fees into the selling price - if you pay them up front, you would lose that money if the car is stolen or totaled before the end of the lease.
Thank you! They gave me $1000 off sticker. They told me they rolled the equity into the calculation. Is there a reason not to roll the equity into the equation?

It's like money out of pocket - if the car is stolen or totaled, you lose that money.
Thanks. They actually started with a higher monthly lease number and when I mentioned the web price they came down.
That's what seems odd to me, they came down to the Web number but they say they can't deal on the car at all. And now they are saying this is their best number.
I am not really comfortable with that but they are the only dealer that will do remote pick for service and all the dealers are an hour + away from us.
I want to get a fair deal but the are my only option I think

Would it be worth a two hour round trip to save $1000? $2000?
The more dealers you get involved in the process, the better the price is you'll ultimately get.
Please provide the November MF and RV for a 2018 XC60 T8 R-design for Southern California, 36/12K? Also, would you please confirm the incentives are $5,002 plus $800 lease cash? Thank you!

Hi, could i please get MF and RV for 2018 XC60 T6 Momentum in Tennessee (37067)?
Lease Terms as follows: - 10,000 miles annually - 36 months
A couple of general questions: 1. Why does the money factor vary so much state by state? 2. Should the money factor change depending on what options are on the car? I'm assuming everything you folks quote is for the stripped version of the requested trim?
After some time at the dealership yesterday, we were quoted the following for a T6 Momentum thats coming in at the end of this month: - 10,000 miles annually - 36 months - .00056 Money Factor - Residual Value was not provided clearly - MSRP of $55,353 - Adjusted Price of $53,553 (net of $1,800 undefined discount) - After putting ~$8k of trade-in-value towards the lease, our monthly payment would have been $536
That seemed completely bonkers to me, so we just grabbed the papers, thanked folks for their time and headed out.
Would appreciate any insight that you all can share.

The problem is, I only have this dealer to go back to for service.
They will pick up my car and give me a loaner right at my house (an hour away from them).
I don't know if they will do that if I get the car from someone else. ... unless they have to according to Volvo, but I think this specifically something this dealership does because the other dealers I spoke with don't.

So far as we know, the Volvo numbers are national.
MF and residual do not change based on packages or options.
We don't not recommend using trade equity to lower your payment; that money would be lost if the car is stolen or totaled.
MF is also marked up, which the dealer is allowed to do.

Holy guacamole, you could fit all of heaven and hell and then some between .00008 and .00056!
would it be reasonable to expect the dealer to go all the way down to .00008 given how new the 2018s are at this point?
Regarding the money factor question i initially posted, how come as I scroll through all the posts, similar lease term money factors in other states are much higher than the .00008 you just shared with me? Just curious, thats all.

It has been a while since I leased, what should I ask the dealership for? MF, residual, is gap insurance included, upfront money, incentives?
They are giving me a monthly number that exacty matches the lease number on the Volvo North America site, should I expect better than that?
Thanks
.00112 MF and 52% residual
$5002 non-cash credit

You should ask them for all of that information.
MSRP
Adjusted CAP cost
money factor
Amount due at signing.
Are they actually giving you a lease quote, or just giving you the information off the website?
