1) Add 2% to the residual. That's the only number expressed as a percentage.
2) Once you agree on a price, then you are done negotiating right? Of course, now that you know they are marking up the rate, you can call and tell them you won't sign with that rate, but they can always change the price, then. If you made a bad deal, call them and tell them you had second thoughts about your deal.

They are throwing in the 1300 lease cash (was 1100 but they are giving me 1300 for vw credit loyalty)
Their is also an additional $500 Tiguan rebate for presidents day and another $500 rebate from the dealer.
Their is also about 1600 in negative equity from a previous lease

$0 down and $320 a month.

Would this be a good deal?

Yes, but over $45/mo. for the negative equity. Why not wait until your lease is up?

Yes, but over $45/mo. for the negative equity. Why not wait until your lease is up

if I wait until lease end I’ll be over mileage and will need new tires no doubt and will need a service.  so I’m guessing I’ll be at that 1600 anyways.

I've been trying to negotiate a deal on a Tiguan SEL 4MOTION via e-mail with a dealer in MA. The rep is telling me that there is no wiggle room in the price of the car. That I can BUY the car for $30,250 (which is what I'm looking to pay) but I cannot LEASE it at that price, because VW is buying he Tiguan and providing it to me at a monthly payment. I've never heard such a thing, but never dealt with VW. Is this a load of BS?

VW often has purchase incentives that aren't valid with the lease program.

Lastly, I understand the figures you'll provide are for February 2018. Are March figures available by chance? Not sure if we'll make the move in February or March.

We don't know the particulars of registration costs for most states. Or, if the dealer can mark them up.

March figures released in March.

Our information is confidential, but accurate.

Residual is fixed by the bank, so nothing to worry about there. If they mark up the MF, simply tell them you won't sign a deal where the MF is inflated. They know the base rate.

Nothing wrong with cynical - we're here to help level the playing field.

Forgot one thing Michaell....the money factor you quoted for the 36/15....is that for tier 1 credit? I'm in tier 1, but not sure if the mf you quoted is for tier 1? If you could elaborate, that'd be again, greatly appreciated!
