Thanks for the info. That is weird since my dealership said they don't know if VWOA will have any incentives for the R-Line package. I did not know they can't give me any numbers until the car comes in. Do I just go with the SEL trim numbers and just add the R-line package price to it?

Yes... packages don't affect the money factor or residual percentage

There are no SEL R- Line Tiguans in our area that I have seen. One local dealer said in the next 60 days or so R-lines will be hitting lots in the NY/ NJ area.

Rydell VW in Edison, NJ sells a lot of vehicles. Just be mindful that there dealership doc fee charge is $449.

Keep me posted on pricing as I will the same, looking to help someone lease one by the end of May.

I just placed an order for one at Reydel VW this past Saturday. Hopefully May numbers are good enough for me to get it. But the weird thing is they told me they might not do any incentive or lease cash when the R-line comes in. This is my first time leasing a car. This forum has helped me a lot.

I hope dealer gave you a lease price before you left a deposit ?
A deposit to lease/ buy without dealer telling u what price your buying vehicle at is not good. On this negotiation and deal Sat. The salesman should of told you the buying sale price to lease minus incentives for April, then salesman should of said if lease cash increases next month ( may) we will lower your sale price further .

Call Rydel make then email you pricing and details on this order.

Don't let Rydal BS you they know your a new buyer . Your entitled to certain lease incentives. You know already dealer is getting $2500 lease money from VW for any sel model leased. Try to get all that money off on your sale price

@brian125 We didnt talk about any numbers. They said they couldnt because they would have wait when the car comes in. If it comes next month then they would have to go with Mays numbers. I am not sure if that is true. I messaged you so we can talk about it there.

Like I previously posted VW is waiting on R-line production. I sent you a IM . In the meantime call your Rydel salesman .... let him know A VW dealer in NY told you same vehicle they will do @Invoice price minus lease cash. With a capped 75 dollar NY Doc fee . Then tell salesman you heard VW is getting $2500 lease cash on all sel models. Will your dealership give that to me. ? Invoice price minus 2500... play stupid, make salesman talk, get all info. time is on your side. You have a good month maybe more to negotiate with other dealers while waiting .

@brian125 @eurostepp I reached out directly to Volkswagen via their official FB account this past Friday and spoke to a representative for an update on the R-Line release and was told late spring/early summer as the vehicles went into production in December. So we're talking about 60 days from now which appears to be in line with what @eurostepp said earlier. Definitely time to do some research and negotiate with dealers in the area. Hoping that May/June's MF and Residuals are favorable and the lease cash is good.

The incentives are based on trim, and it's VW's money, not the dealers, to give away. If they continue to take a hard line on this when inventory arrives, you might be best served by working with another dealer.

I get $338/mo plus tax; if the tax rate is around 7%, then we're pretty close to the dealer quote.
