    Looking for MF and RV for Virginia on a 36/10 and 36/12 X3 xdrive30i.

    dealer not willing to go near 10% discount but theres 2K rebates. is this typical?

    also, how badly are lease costs affected by credit? I have OK credit, not great, but not terrible.

    MF is marked up the max allowed.

    And, we'd recommend you avoid the $3906 up front cash - you'd lose that money if the car was stolen or totaled.

    If I'm planning to select from the dealer's loaner vehicle, is it possible to ask them to install new tires or ask for more discount for some potential wear and tear? Last time I leased a loaner C300 with 5k miles and forgot to check the tire, ended up I had to replace the tire within a year...

    No dealer is going to replace tires on a 5K mile vehicle, without you paying for it. (one way or the other). Not sure what your issue was with the Mercedes, but it sure didn't have anything to do with 5K miles of wear.

    All prices are negotiable, but loaners should already be discounted more. For a vehicle with 3000-4999 miles, look for 12%-15% off MSRP. Loaners with under 5000 miles will lease the best. For loaners over 5000 miles, you'll need 20% off MSRP to make them a viable lease candidate.
