No way would I start a lease with $5-7K to start - in CA, just first payment and DMV costs should be paid at signing.

I'd recommend you add the doc fee and the acquisition fee into the payment - less out of pocket and won't be at risk of loss if the car is stolen or totaled.

Same question as before - what constitutes the difference between the "net price" and the "balance" on the right?

Until you get the number straight - where is the acquisition fee, by the way? - and get the base MF, I'd keep shopping. Lots of BMW dealers out there.
