I made this post previously. After doing some negotiations I have some changes. Please tell me if this a decent deal:

What is the MF for a Q50 premium,nav & touring. Also the residual for Texas
Also does this work up look fair? The selling price will be around 43,500(now $42,949) $535 mo. Payment (now $500 per month). Residual $26,562, mileage was 10,000 negotiatiated 12,000. 39 months. Drive out is $690. Turning in a 2012 Maxima premium, Nav Tech pkg. Infiniti paying last 3 notes and they are paying about a third of the taxes. I'm rolling in about $1200. The specs on the car are below.

Please advice if there are any items I should pay attention to when going over contract.

I'll assume RWD, since you are in Texas - 39/12 lease numbers for Q50 Premium are .00032 and 54%.

We would need to know the net cap cost (selling price plus any taxes and fees, less any money down). However, given that Texas applies sales tax to the entire selling price, $500/mo for a car that stickers at $48K is not a bad deal.

Yes it is rear wheel drive, I'm not putting any money down. The taxes are $3500. Infiniti is paying $2200 & I'm rolling in $1300. The selling price is $42,949

That's the selling price; the cap cost is the selling price plus all the taxes and fees you are adding to it.

Using your numbers, I get a payment of $455/mo.

2015 q50 rwd, prem with navi only options i need is the 19inch wheels and rear folding seats.

I wanted # on a 24 month lease with 10k and 12k miles

Thank you for the quick reply. I wanted to ask do you expect the residual % to possibly raise any next month?

When i purchased my current g37 2 years ago the residual was 72% for a 2 year lease. With such a big difference i wonder why the q50 is considered worth so much less when returned.

No idea what will happen with the residuals from month to month.

It's likely that Infiniti overstated the residual value of their cars a few years ago to drive more sales. However, when all those cars came back from lease they might have lost a ton of money given the "real" value was much less.

.00030 is the base MF for top tier credit. You might be able to lower it a little bit with MSD but there isn't any sort of regional variance.

Also when it comes to payment amounts what makes the difference in 10k,12k or 15k miles. Is the monthly price difference just set by the difference in price with the percentage change? Or is there something else factored in?

Just the different residuals based on the mileage ... MF stays the same.

Anyone know of MF or residual figures caries much by getting an36 month lease onstead of a 39 month lease?

Its seems 39 months is infiniti's new normal.but im not a fan of paying yearly registration a 4th time when im only keeping the car for 3 months in that 4th year.

That's the correct MF and residual.

When I add in $700 for the acq.fee, then 6.25% tax on that full amount, I get $550/mo., so the calculations are right on the money. If you are happy with the selling price, then everything looks good.

Of course, it helps if I plug in the numbers correctly. I'm now getting $379.67/mo with tax when I use 39 months instead of 36.

Of course, it helps if I plug in the numbers correctly. I'm now getting $379.67/mo with tax when I use 39 months instead of 36.

$700 is the standard IFS acquisition fee.

Doc fees are almost never "standard". They are just a revenue enhancer for the dealer. It depends on where you live.

Need help with 2015 Q50 Sport AWD 15k 39 months:

about to to close deal today in Long Island, NY (tax 8.625%). Sign and drive Tax in the lease. First month, DMV up front only.

Car at is White Pearl, NAV, Folding Seats, Splash Guards, Door sill light up, Spare Tire kit, all weather mats Think sticker is $50k+ change.

Whats the best monthly lease I should be able to get with zero cap reduction in my end? Is $455 crazy?
