Thanks Michaell. Does that car qualify for the 2k lease cash as well? Based on previous posts it looks like it does. I've tried searching for anything about that and have come up empty, and it seems like I'll need to show them something to prove that it's a thing.

The lease cash is a dealer incentive. You can be sure they have already accounted for it in the purchase price.
Maryland lease taxes are high, nothing you can do about that. The calculations seem to be correct.

Wanted to see what everyone thought of this deal on a '16 TLX 2.4 w/ Tech
MSRP: $36,690 Discount: $3,990 Selling Price $32,700 Taxes (PA): $2,254 DOC FEE: $134 License FEE: $164.15 Rebates: $500 (I think this was the conquest rebate) Balance: $34,752.15 Residual: 57% MF: 0.00070
12k miles yr for 36 months monthly payment with tax = $379.39
The dealer mentioned the lease cash but said it was $1000 lease cash (read on here that it was $2,000?). Dealer was mum on how the discount was achieved (not sure if lease cash was used or they simply lowered MSRP w/o applying any incentives).
I am thinking my next move is to tell them to make the selling price $32,700 then stack the incentives ($2000 lease cash, $500 conquest, and $500 new grad to make the final selling price $29,700--is that hoping for too much?)

I'm pretty certain your selling price includes the lease cash.
However, I'm confused about the tax ... it was my understanding that in PA, lease tax was assessed against the monthly payment, not up front.
Therefore, I'm not sure which number to use as the net capitalized cost.

It's always good to get multiple dealers involved; that way, you get the best deal

Just got back from the other Pittsburgh area Acura dealer.
In regards to my initial post, I shouldn't have included that tax figure. The dealer told me the breakdown he gave me was for both leasing and purchasing the car. Since I am leasing that tax figure doesn't apply to me. Here are the correct numbers:
'16 TLX 2.4 w/ Tech
MSRP: $36,690 Discount: $3,990 Selling Price $32,700 DOC FEE: $134 License FEE: $164.15 Rebates: $500 (I think this was the conquest rebate) Residual: 57% MF: 0.00070
12k miles yr for 36 months monthly payment with tax = $379.39
This number assumes a $1500 down payment.
Here is the competitors offer I received tonight:
"16 TLX 2.4 w/ Tech
MSRP: $36,690 Discount: $4,703 Adjusted Price: $31,987 DOC Fee: $135 Non Tax Fees: 160.15 Net Price: $32,282.15 Rebate: $500 Recent Grad
12k miles yr for 36 months monthly payment with tax = $375
This assumes a $1k down payment.
It appears ~$375 is the best I can do in Pittsburgh at the moment. Has anyone had any luck getting them to go lower than $31k on adjusted price?
I also wanted to ask about credit score. Mine is right around 700. Should I expect these numbers to shoot through the roof when they run my credit app? Can I have a co-signer on a lease to counter act this?

Assuming a 9% tax rate, the first offer works out to $398/mo with tax.
The second offer is $385/mo with tax
I would get the true net capitalized cost for each deal - something is being added or subtracted from the numbers you've been given.

Ended up pulling the trigger on Friday.
Wanted to ask you guys about the money factor. I was quoted a money factor of .00077. I have tried to check the money figure by using the rent charge. Could you guys let me know if Im right?
MF= (RentCharge/LeaseTerm)/(AdjCapCost+Residual)
MF= (1344.60/36)/(32437.36+20913.30) MF=(37.35)/(53350.66) MF=0.000700085 or 1.68%
Am I in the ballpark? I thought the best MF for the TLX was .00077? My credit score was a 716 and this was my first lease. Did I qualify for Tier 1 or something?
question about the lease cash and conquest and/or loyalty. Acura is hounding me to ditch my 2013 TL a few months before lease end but their numbers haven't been very aggressive.
Is the lease cash good on the V6 base? Can it be combined with loyalty? What is loyalty amount? Conquest amount? Also wanted to double check resid on 36 mo 10K is 59% at .000777 ?
For a base V6 they are at SP of $33029 x 36 mo at $372 + tax with $1200 drive off (about $307 cap reduction)

There is $1000 lease cash on the V6 base. They loyalty incentive of $500 should stack on top of that.
MF on the TLX this month is .00077; 36/10 residual is 60% (59% is for 36/12).
mf, residual and incentives please? Trying to compare with the deal i got for my mom last month as I may get the same cae
.00070 MF
66% residual for 24/10 60% residual for 36/10
$1000 lease cash + $500 loyalty/conquest cash
so the residual is worse by 1% this month than last month on the 4cylinder? I believe it was 61% but it seems that there is $1000 more in cash available?

If you say so .. we don't keep track of historical trends.
I did see any other thread for TLX so asking my question here. Asked the dealer for TLX OTD price while shopping for RDX . They quoted 2016 base TLX OTD for $30,675. Is this a good price?

Hello experts! I've been leasing an Acura TL (now TLX) V6 FWD standard model 12K miles/yr from the same dealer for what will be the 4th time (lease is up in Sept. '16). Every time, I end up paying approx. $450/month with $0 down & only the dmv fees up front. Now, I'm priming up to get my hands on the 2016 model V6 SH-AWD w/ Advance package, with my mindset of not paying a dime more than $450/month, $0 down, and just the DMV fees up front for 36 months and 12K miles/year. I'm in the Queens, NY area and have Paragon Acura/Rallye Acura (dealer I've been using) in my vicinity. Any help, ideas, questions that would get me to this goal is extremely appreciated. Even if dropping down to the SH-AWD w/ Tech package is the way to go. Thank you all for your guidance!
After this Tesla model 3 announcement I may reconsider my timeline. What are the 24 month residuals on. 2016 V6 base 24/10k 2015 V6 tech 24/10k 2015 advance 24/10k

.00070 MF and 57% residual for 36/12. $2000 lease cash + $500 loyalty cash.
Not sure what that will come to... Give us an MSRP and selling price and we can calculate a payment.

Acura does not offer a 10,000 mile option for 24 month leases; what follows are the 24/12 numbers:
.00070 MF
V6 base - 65% V6 tech / advance - 63%
$1000 lease cash on base; $2000 on other trims. $500 loyalty or conquest cash
Once again I want to thank this forum for the info. This most recent deal was the most arduous I've ever done with sales people lying and withholding info which resulted in me driving to San Diego from LA to get my TLX.
2016 V6 Tech MSRP $40293 Sale price $35923 65% 24 mo 10K miles $1500 in loyalty and dealer cash $1000 out of pocket (~$500 in fees, taxes and DMV + first month's rent) $367 + tax ($400 in CA)
I opted for a wheel, glass and tire policy that added $31/mo
Lessons learned: Not sure why they opted to eat what I had expected to be a $37000 sales price while holding on to the extra $1000 in lease cash mentioned in the forum. Acura doesn't do many 24 month leases (finance manager originally had it written up as 36 mo @$400. Finance mgr mentioned that the Gen Mngr has a lot of pull when it comes to structuring lease. Opted for 24 month lease in hopes Elon has my Type Three ready in two years.
Hello, I am a current owner of 2005 TSX. I am considering leasing a 2016 TLX.
Can you please provide residuals, money factor, and incentives/rebates for both 36m/10k and 36m/12k:
1. TLX I4 Base 2. TLX I4 - Tech pakage
Another question, I'm assuming the money factors quoted throughout this forum is the super elite tier, correct? How does the MF change at lower tiers. My equifax credit score is 695 and TU is 683. I don't exactly qualify for the super elite rate.

Hello, First of all thank you for the information you provide us. It is beyond helpful. This is my first time leasing. Can you please tell me at least roughly what I can expect with the following variables?

Assuming your discount already includes the lease cash.. $40,545 CAP cost (selling price + tax + $595 acq.fee) $536/mo. If the $2000 lease cash is in addition to the discount, then $479/mo.

Maryland lease taxes are high, nothing you can do about that. The calculations seem to be correct.

MSRP: $36,690

Selling Price $32,700
Taxes (PA): $2,254
DOC FEE: $134
License FEE: $164.15

The dealer mentioned the lease cash but said it was $1000 lease cash (read on here that it was $2,000?). Dealer was mum on how the discount was achieved (not sure if lease cash was used or they simply lowered MSRP w/o applying any incentives).
I am thinking my next move is to tell them to make the selling price $32,700 then stack the incentives ($2000 lease cash, $500 conquest, and $500 new grad to make the final selling price $29,700--is that hoping for too much?)
Thanks for the input guys.
However, I'm confused about the tax ... it was my understanding that in PA, lease tax was assessed against the monthly payment, not up front.

I also wanted to ask about credit score. Mine is right around 700. Should I expect these numbers to shoot through the roof when they run my credit app? Can I have a co-signer on a lease to counter act this?
In regards to my initial post, I shouldn't have included that tax figure. The dealer told me the breakdown he gave me was for both leasing and purchasing the car. Since I am leasing that tax figure doesn't apply to me. Here are the correct numbers:
'16 TLX 2.4 w/ Tech
MSRP: $36,690
Discount: $3,990
Selling Price $32,700
DOC FEE: $134
License FEE: $164.15
Rebates: $500 (I think this was the conquest rebate)
Residual: 57%
MF: 0.00070
12k miles yr for 36 months monthly payment with tax = $379.39
This number assumes a $1500 down payment.
Here is the competitors offer I received tonight:
"16 TLX 2.4 w/ Tech
MSRP: $36,690
Discount: $4,703
Adjusted Price: $31,987
DOC Fee: $135
Non Tax Fees: 160.15
Net Price: $32,282.15
Rebate: $500 Recent Grad
12k miles yr for 36 months monthly payment with tax = $375
This assumes a $1k down payment.

MF= (RentCharge/LeaseTerm)/(AdjCapCost+Residual)
MF= (1344.60/36)/(32437.36+20913.30)
MF=(37.35)/(53350.66)
MF=0.000700085 or 1.68%
Am I in the ballpark? I thought the best MF for the TLX was .00077? My credit score was a 716 and this was my first lease. Did I qualify for Tier 1 or something?

Is the lease cash good on the V6 base? Can it be combined with loyalty? What is loyalty amount? Conquest amount? Also wanted to double check resid on 36 mo 10K is 59% at .000777 ?
For a base V6 they are at SP of $33029 x 36 mo at $372 + tax with $1200 drive off (about $307 cap reduction)
MF on the TLX this month is .00077; 36/10 residual is 60% (59% is for 36/12).

24 mo 10K miles
$1500 in loyalty and dealer cash
$1000 out of pocket (~$500 in fees, taxes and DMV + first month's rent)
$367 + tax ($400 in CA)
I opted for a wheel, glass and tire policy that added $31/mo
Lessons learned:
Not sure why they opted to eat what I had expected to be a $37000 sales price while holding on to the extra $1000 in lease cash mentioned in the forum.

Can you please provide residuals, money factor, and incentives/rebates for both 36m/10k and 36m/12k:
1. TLX I4 Base
2. TLX I4 - Tech pakage
Another question, I'm assuming the money factors quoted throughout this forum is the super elite tier, correct? How does the MF change at lower tiers. My equifax credit score is 695 and TU is 683. I don't exactly qualify for the super elite rate.
Thanks!
Base - 59%. $1000 lease cash.
Tech - 57%. $2000 lease cash.
$500 loyalty or conquest cash.
Add 1% for 10K
.00070 for top tier credit. No information on MF uplifts if not top-tier.
