Forgot to add: I'm $0 down because I hear thats what I should do
The dealer sent me this message when I said I wanted to $0 down. I don't understand the last paragraph. is he giving me the run-around?
1st payment - $569.46 Sales tax upfront - $78.75 1st year fees - $427.75 Bank fee (Audi FS) - $875.00 Total Initial Pmt - $1,950.96
If you do not want to put any money down when you sign the lease, those monies have to be collected. The Drive Off amount, $1,950.96 is added to the selling price of the car. When the price of the car is adjusted, then the tax, license, registration increase due to the higher selling price. So for the benefit of no money down you will pay $79.02 in additional taxes and fees. …
He is not. The amounts listed are lease inception fees, which is different than a down payment. As noted, you can do a true 'sign and drive' lease and add those amounts to your cap cost, but your payment will increase accordingly.

thanks
.00160 and 58% for 3.0T Prem Plus. MF is marked up for extra profit.
Using the base MF and your prices, I get a payment of $591/mo + tax.
Find out what the net cap cost is - if higher than your negotiated price, determine what's been added.
FWIW, I just totaled my 2015 Q5 purchased last May. I'm OK, as is everyone else involved. These cars are rock solid.
Thinking about just replacing...dealer in town has offered me zero drive off/589 including tax and audicare for a p+ sticker 48995. I live in Los Angeles, 9% tax.
Will probably pass...it's a good deal, I didn't even negotiate. But I'm tired of spending so much money on cars...sign of turning 50?
Hello, Is AFS does allow one time payment ? Is it wise to do one time payment? mainly to reduce interest paid (I'll take GAP insurance if that's the case ). Are there any discounts for 1 time payment ?

Sorry, but new at this: My local dealer is offering me 36 month/7,500 miles/yr., $3,000 down, $674.62/mo., 61% residual with a MF of 2.29 (I assume they mean .00229).
The MF is higher but the residual is also higher - resulting in a similar monthly lease payment. What am I missing please?

It's likely that the dealer is using a 3rd party bank for this lease - dealer cannot modify the residual percentage set by the bank, but can mark up the money factor for more profit.

36/7.5K/yr residual is 61%, if you are purchasing AudiCare.
Also, they can markup the money factor for extra profit.
Can you provide money factor and residual numbers for 2.0T premium plus and 3.0T premium plus (both 36/12K) in March? Thanks++.
2.0T: .00112 MF and 56% residual 3.0T: .00160 MF and 58% residual
There is a different MF between models? Is that typical of Audi. I haven't bought one in a few years. Also, is the residual +2% for 10K (vs. 12k)? What about 7.5K?

Yes, the different engine types have different MF.
Monthly Payment: $585 all taxes title fees rolled in
Is this a correctly calculated monthly fee?
Which state? Tax rate?
Does the CAP cost you list include everything?
State is NJ Tax rate is 7%
The cap cost is the selling price of the car, and the sales associate said the monthly fee is with everything included. I'm assuming first month payment, basically sign and drive

.00112 MF and 56% residual (assuming 2.0T).
If I add $2400 for $795 acq.fee, $300 doc fee and about $1300 tax, I get $553/mo. $44,200 CAP cost..
I didn't add in title/registration, because I don't know those costs. (and, estimated the other costs).
Ask them for the adjusted CAP cost, and a breakdown of the amounts over the selling price. Also, ask them to disclose the money factor. At this point, with me guessing, they are about $1000 total, over. $400-$500 of that could be title/registration, so not that far off. But, you need exact numbers.
From here, looks pretty close... devil is in the details.
Was wondering if someone can help advise on if this is a good deal or not (seems VERY good) My current Audi A4 just hit its allowed miles and I still have 4 months left on the lease $522 a month.
My local dealer is willing to take back the A4, not charge me any over mileage and pay the remaining $2088 owed on my A4.
I was quoted for a MSRP 42,630 car he would sell for $40,630 using a $2000 rebate for conquest/loyalty. NY STATE.
Total Price: $499 for Audi 2016 Q5 All Standard Equipment, No "TECH/NAV" packages. Taxes rolled in, Bank fee paid up front (total out of pocket is $1300 for bank fee plates tire fee etc first month etc). 12k miles a year Another dealer quote $515 and when I went to the second dealer he accepted my "keep under $500" right away.
Think I can do better?
UPDATE: Went to a third dealer, lied and told him the above offers were for 15k miles can he match/beat price... He gave me same car as above, 15k miles a year for $495. Good Deal worth taking?
2016 Q5, premium plus, 3.0, tech package, sport package.

Is this a good deal? I'm told the MF on this lease is .0016. Is this correct?

What is the new MF for April?
Thank you!
.00143 and 57% for 3.0T premier plus in April.
What is the net cap cost?
Hello. Net cap cost? Not sure. I have the lease agreement in front of me. I don't see a "Net Cap Cost." Adjusted cap cost is 47865. If I request they rewrite the agreement for April will the terms be better?
I asked them outright about April and they said the MF is the same (.0016) but the acquisition rebate goes away.
Edmunds gurus! I got quoted by my dealer for MARCH the following: 2016 Q5 3.0T Premium plus MSRP $54,554 with 12K miles per year, with Audi Care included, 36 months lease, $1600 out of pocket Monthly payment $550.00 Tax included. Is this a good, average or bad deal?? Thank you for your help
