2015 Infiniti Q50 Lease Questions

I am new to leasing and just realized. Because the lease is for 12k miles per year over 39 months, will I have to replace the tires during the lease? Especially because they are run flat tires (wear faster).

Also, are there other items that would need to replaced over the lease, other than just changing the oil/rotating tires?

Depends on your driving habits. I'm on my 3rd set of tires in 40,000 miles on my current lease. Either I'm tougher on tires than I realize, or I'm choosing tires that wear faster than normal.

Brakes? Again, depends on your driving habits.

Beyond that, just normal maintenance.

I am negotiating a deal currently

I have a trade in ('13 JX35) least with 9 payments left @ $685 = $6165 (Residual from this lease is $32,619)

The current offer on a Premium Q50:

MSRP: 44,100
52% residual
39 Mo lease @ 10k/yr
3% interest rate
$850 down and includes 1st payment

Payment = $499 + tax

Sound like a good deal? Haven't traded in a lease for another lease before. thanks!

I'd want to know where the remaining payment on the old lease are going. It could be added into the new lease, which you don't want. Get the payoff value from Infiniti, then determine what the trade value is. That will tell you if you have positive or negative equity.

Not AWD. It is RWD Sport with many options included. $47K is their ACC. Dealer just gave counter quote of $598 including taxes.

Can't speak specifically for AZ, but in general it's based on the address where the car is registered.

At least, that's how it works here in CO.

I've seen mostly 39mo figures here. Anyone know if Infinity offers 24 or 36 mo leases?

Also so what are the MF and residuals for the 3.7 base and premium 10k miles/yr. If There are 24 or 36 month lease quotes for the those periods.

Base: .00032 MF and 60%/56%/55% residual for 24/36/39 months

Premium: .00032 MF and 59%/54%/53% residual.

You see a lot of 39 month terms, because that term results in a lower payment.

That isn't an offer, but an ad.

You can do better if you negotiate a better selling price. Without knowing the selling price, it's hard to tell you if you are getting a good deal or a great deal.

@Michaell a comment you wrote picqued my interest. Some time between now and the end of my next lease term I will apply for a mortgage in LA. The lease will be my only debt and I would like it as low as possible without the danger of paying down cap cost. You wrote:

CA taxes the lease payment monthly; other states calculate the total lease tax and collect it up front.

When I plug in your numbers into my calculator, I get $387/mo with tax included.

Ask the dealer what the adjusted cap cost is; if higher than the sale price, find out what they've added to it.

You'll have to check with a dealer for the residual reduction for the extra 9750 miles.

Don't have any info on lease incentives for Infiniti.

Sales tax in Texas is pretty high, so that's what you need to find out first. Texas charges tax on the full selling price. It could easily be the full difference in payments.

Sales tax in Texas is pretty high, so that's what you need to find out first. Texas charges tax on the full selling price. It could easily be the full difference in payments.

The only variable at this point is the selling price. If you're comfortable with it, no reason not to pull the trigger.
