Money Down: (1st month and TTL) $938.18 Monthly Payment: $439
The MF was a little higher than optimal, but they used an additional $1000 incentive on the advertised price which made up for it on the monthly payment. I probably would not option a car out this way, but the discount was great. This is a great example of end of model year savings. You can get good discounts, but you can't be picky about options/colors. Thanks again!

Congrats! More and more dealers are hanging onto profit by either reducing the size of the discount from sticker or marking up the MF. I think that extra $1000 incentive negated any bump in payment the MF hike represented.
Hi, I recently got a lease offer for 2016 328i x, in colorado, it is a demo car with only 20 miles. MSRP: 51120 selling price including all incentives: 42000$ 10k/36 acq fee +doc fee=1430$ tax 7.85%=1252$, MF=0.00174, i rolled everything into monthly payment of ~478$, by adding 7 MSD, it can be reduced to ~441$. the dealer stick to the MF of 0.00174, they said that's the best they can offer, take it or not. How do you think? shall I take it? Thanks very much for your suggestion!

20 miles does not make it a demo car.
Tax on a lease in Colorado is applied to the monthly payment, so the $1252 is irrelevant.
Politely tell them you won't sign a deal with the base MF - would this dealer by Schomp, by chance?

It is Murray. I have hold this offer for a few days in hope that they can reduce the MF, and I asked them twice, they said no. Schomp is very firm on the internet price as well. I am not sure to take it or switch to other brand such as C300, A4 or CTS.

Have you tried Cos BMW, up in Loveland. Got a buddy who has bought a couple of used cars from them, raves about the service.
Or Gebhardt in Boulder or the dealer down in Co Springs - the wider you make your search area, the better chances you have of striking the deal you want.

I checked all Cos, boulder, and schomp. all of them are very firm. boulder offered me 42000 for a loaner car 328 with MSRP 51000, with 6000 miles on it. Cos don't have what I like. Schomp actually has lot of inventory in stock, I have no idea why their price is so firm. Murray BMW gives me the best offer, but still not that sweet enough, 440$ per month with 0 downpay, upfront pay includes 7MSD+first month payment, not too bad, but not that great. I got a 350$ monthly payment for a loaner 2016 C300 of MSRP 52800$ with 2900 miles, 0 down pay, 10 MSD+first month payment to drive off, 12k/36. Hello, I have this 2016 328i deal I am working on with a local dealership in TX. Can you tell me how this looks?
- MSRP: $47,195 - Sale Price: $38,500 - MF: .00134 - RV: 62% (36/12) - Payment: $464/month with $0 down
I am planning on making 3-4 MSD payments to bring the MF down a bit (not factored in above). Also, are there any other fees you would recommend I pay up front?

CAP cost of about $42,500 to get to that monthly payment, or about $4000 more. $2500 tax, $925 acquisition fee. What else? About $1000 left.
I'd roll everything in. Each MSD will save about $5/mo.

I would love an update on January numbers for 24/10 term for a 320i. There seem to be a few 2016 leftovers near me and I wonder if dealers are ready to get rid of them. thank you!

With the edmunds lease calculator I get $476 a month with the tax rolled in at a tax rate of 8.625%. Nassau County, NY.
I live in Nassau too, and will be shopping around for a 340xi or 240xi. THe numbers on the 3 are way more appealing. Did you end up getting the car? If so what were the final numbers? @ Rallye? Thx in advance
I just leased a 2016 BMW 340i as stated in the forum. Why is the acquisition fee included on these discussions? Why is there an acquisition fee on the Edmunds calculator? I just called BMW financial and they advised me that an acquisition fee is a dealer fee so basically it's a mark up fee and can definitely be negotiated out of the contract. Please confirm? Thanks.

I leased a 2016 BMW 340 XI Msport (msrp 57,775) instead of the previous one from Nassau county. With the incentive rebate the price came down to $49730.18. About $8045 off when you factor in the $1,500 rebate but then I put the $920 down as an acquisition fee, which went in as a capital cost reduction so It's $460 a month plus tax. 12K 62% .00134. I leased it in Rhode Island. Should have just left the acquisition out and renegotiated. Now that I know the acquisition fee is just a dealer fee and not an actual bank fee. Still a pretty good deal on a 58k car.

That's incorrect. Every BMW lease includes a $925 acquisition fee, and it goes to BMWFS.

I called BMW fin services this morning and spoke to two people and they said the acquisition fee is a dealer fee, not a fee that goes to BMW. If it went to BMW directly, shouldn't it be listed on the contract as separate? The contract doesn't show any such acquisition fee on my lease contract. Thanks.

BMWFS will not answer your questions about any dealer dealings, because they aren't at arms length from the dealer. Dealers can mark up their lease rates and participate in the profits.
However, the acquisition fee goes to BMWFS, and the dealer cannot alter it, or mark it up. It's $925 on every BMWFS lease, unless you agree to a money factor increase, in exchange for waiving the fee. (which is almost never a good deal).

2017 has slightly higher residual but no incentive. Better discounting on the 2016 will likely get you a lower payment.
Hello! I'm comparing a couple different demo 2016 demo 328i xdrive sedans with various mileage (3,000-~8,500). What would be the MF and residual be for these demos? How much should the residual go down based on previous mileage?

.00134 and 66% / 60%. $1500 option allowance.
The residual hit for demos seems to have changed. Before, it was a straight .25/mile. Now, there is a sliding scale where there is a residual percentage adjustment and a mileage penalty.
Between 5000-7499 miles, residual is reduced 4% and .25/mile for all miles over 500 Between 7500-9999 miles, residual is reduced 6% and .25/mile for all miles over 500
Looks like BMW is charging twice for those demo miles.

I called BMW fin services this morning and spoke to two people and they said the acquisition fee is a dealer fee, not a fee that goes to BMW. If it went to BMW directly, shouldn't it be listed on the contract as separate? The contract doesn't show any such acquisition fee on my lease contract. Thanks.

The residual hit for demos seems to have changed. Before, it was a straight .25/mile. Now, there is a sliding scale where there is a residual percentage adjustment and a mileage penalty.
Between 5000-7499 miles, residual is reduced 4% and .25/mile for all miles over 500
Between 7500-9999 miles, residual is reduced 6% and .25/mile for all miles over 500
Looks like BMW is charging twice for those demo miles.
Confirm with your dealer, however.
