    "Supposedly" is the key word.

Using your numbers, along with the .00011 MF and 55% residual, I get $579/mo, assuming 7% tax. That assumes you pay just the first payment out of pocket.

Politely tell the dealer you won't sign a deal with an inflated MF.

I did not close my deal in Feb, so I need the following for March, please.

Hello, can I get the MF and Residuals in the SF Bay Area. for AWD and RWD 35t Premium and Prestige ? For 36/12K ? I am looking for the one with the best MF. I am likely transitioning from a Lexus IS so would also be great to know if I can avail of the $1000 competitive offer.

Many thanks, can I also get 36/10K for the sale XE models ? I just visited the dealer today and an awaiting their numbers. On the web site at
    http://www.jaguarusa.com/current-offers/xe-offers.html#disclaimer_header

it appears that the difference between a lease on the XE 25t and the XE35t is only the $1100 initial payment for 36/10K. Does that make sense ?

Add 1% to the 12K residuals for 10K

I don't get anywhere with that link; but, those are not really offers, but ads. You ought to be able to negotiate a better price on your own, and you can control how much you do (or don't) put down.

How would this work on a demo car with 7500 miles on it. What would be the MF and residual on it?

    Jaguar XE 35t Prestige AWD 36m, 7,500M a year

    Car was 52k new
    Selling for $47,900

He took 1k off (rolls eyes)
    46900

    -2100 reb

    44,800.0

Quoted me a MF of .0015 (rolls eyes), told him to get back to me with a real number.

    in NJ

    in NJ

    60% and .00001 for 36/7.5

However, the residual is adjusted .30/mi for all miles up to 6000, so that would knock $1800 off the calculated residual.

Not sure how miles 6000 to 7500 are treated.

    MF is, ahem, outrageous.

So he got back to me with the following: 0 down, aside from FMP. He said the lease would be through chase not jaguar, not sure if this is because its considered preowned. 7,151m on the car.

    Here's the breakdown:

    MSRP: $52,483
Selling Price: $46,900 plus $2,100 rebate
    Term: 36 Months
    Rate:0.00099
    Residual: 60%
    Miles: 7,500
Out of Pocket: First Month's Payment
    Monthly Payment: $599.96

If you do it with Taxes and Fees out of pocket (4246.75), you're looking at $491.67 a month.

    Do those numbers make sense?

I was under the impression that Jaguar Finance is a subsidiary of Chase.

If this is a used car (that is, has already been titled), then it would not qualify for new car lease terms.

I'm not aware of a Jaguar CPO lease program, but both BMW and Lexus have one.

We don't have any of those numbers, if such a program does exist.

Using your numbers, as is, gives me a payment of $445/mo plus tax.

Ask the dealer what adjusted cap cost they are using to get to the $600/mo payment.

How is the tax calculated on a lease in NJ, I read somewhere it was calculated differently

This is what i got, i assume that is with all taxes included, the only thing I dont have is what the MV and any other fees are.

NJ assesses sales tax on a lease against the sum of the payments, and collects the money up front.

You can choose to pay the tax when you sign the paperwork, or you can add it to the cap cost and spread it out across the monthly payments.

In your case, the total sales tax is around $1100; if I add that to the $44,800, I get about $470/mo.

Still have to account for the acquisition fee, dealer fee and DMV costs.

Also am I reading this right,

    XE 35t Preimum, AWD, 7.5k miles 36M

    36/7.5 - 63% and .00016

    So the interest rate equates to .00016 X 2400 = .0384% ?

And he is charging me 2.16%, im better off getting new.

OK, if I use $47,978 as the cap cost (44,800 + taxes & fees - $202 cap reduction), the payment is $587/mo - closer to the $599 quote.

You may be better off leasing new ... would have to run the numbers to be sure.

No way to calculate any of the numbers used to get that payment without knowing the MSRP and selling price.

And, get a full accounting of the $2500.

I still don't see a selling price or adjusted cap cost.

NJ taxes the sum of the payments, and collects the money up front.

    MF is marked up.

Dealer can't touch the residual, however.
