    Using $51,300 and $43,000, I get $459/mo plus tax, assuming all fees and such are paid up front.

    The acquisition fee is in the CAP cost, not the drive-off, is my guess

    You grabbed the best deal indeed. In Washington no one offering base model for $38,200. All are asking minimum $41k. Will wait until this month end, if any dealer does not meet their target :smile:

    I am in discussion with a dealer about a 2017 MDX SH-AWD lease (36/10). It has 5k miles on it, but is (according to him) “new” because the owner of the dealership has been driving it and it has never been titled. The only adjustment made to the lease terms is a reduction in the RV from 56% to 54.9% which he said is set by Acura. Does this sound legitimate?

    Yes, demo units undergo an adjustment to the residual to account for the miles, usually on a per-mile rate.

    Don't know what that is for Acura, however.

    I agree with your pre-tax math.

    If you want to roll the taxes into the payment, add the $1247 to the $39,191, then rerun the calculations - I get $425.45/mo

    If we assume that the extra $475 upfront covers CA DMV/doc fee, and then add the $595 acquisition fee to the CAP cost, I get $364/mo.+tax. That puts it within a couple of dollars of your quote.

    That looks like a good discount, even taking into account the incentive. I'd be happy with that deal.
