$1,000 due at signing which includes 1st payment, tax on cap cost reduction, and registration fees. Already negotiated down from starting offer of around $680 so don't think there's much room left.

I agree.. .it's a pretty solid deal, and a big discount.
The money factor bump adds about $25/mo. Wouldn't hurt to take a shot at getting the base rate. That's $900.
Thanks Michaell! Yeah I saw that and tried to negotiate for base rate but the dealer won’t budge saying I’m already giving you a hefty discount on the price. Given that can’t be negotiated down is there anything else wrong with the deal?
does the drive off amount look high and include anything which can be negotiated?

Since you have an OL code, the dealer discount is actually $6250.. But, $500 dealer fee effectively makes it $5750. That's still over 10% off, so no complaints.
The only thing to negotiate is the money factor or the sale price. If they won't budge on the money factor, ask for $500 more off.
If you want less money upfront, ask them to roll the acquisition fee and dealer fee into the CAP cost. Of course, your payment will go up accordingly.

Can you help me confirm this quote’s numbers on a 36/10 lease in NJ (07078)?

I believe it should be MF 0.00166 which becomes 0.00131 after 7 MSD’s (I know you don’t have MSD info). Just want to make sure nothing has been marked up or snuck in. I couldn’t get any calculators to add up the same, partly because they don’t have NJ luxury tax, and I don’t know how to calculate it.

If the money factor is .00131, then the adjusted CAP cost has to be about $59000 to get that payment.
Adding up your amounts, that leaves about $2400 for tax, which seems like too much.
I'd just ask for the money factor and adjusted CAP. Why guess?

Adjusted CAP cost = selling price + items not paid upfront - rebates/cap reductions
For instance, NJ collects sales tax upfront, so that would be in the adjusted CAP cost, as well.

Is there a current incentive for financing through BMWFS for 2019 X3 ? I've been getting conflicting information from dealers. Some say there is a 1500 rebate, one says 2000 and few others are denying it. This is across the states of FL, NC, VA and MD. Is it region specific or something ? Appreciate if the mods and experts here can confirm. Thanks in advance.

Thanks @kyfdx . Need one more help. Attached below is a lease worksheet I've put for myself for an 2019 M40i order. This is not a quote from any dealer as such, more like my target in a best case scenario. These numbers look too attractive to be correct. Can you please weigh in if I'm missing anything here or doing anything incorrectly ? Here are some more information to support these numbers
- These are for leasing from an out of state dealer and tag/titled in NC. - Inceptions (#5) includes only DMV fee of 125 + doc fee of 299. - Calculation assumes dealer will let the lessee pay the monthly NC tax as opposed to upfront payment of full tax. - Dealer discount at 11% - Doesn't qualify for any current rebates and no down payment. Hence adjusted cap cost is same as cap cost. - Rent Charge = (Residual + Adj Cap Cost)* MF. - Money factor after 7 MSDs (assuming dealer will entertain it)
Should the first payment be added to inceptions ? In that case, monthly payment shoots up to 799 ?

I don't see the $925 acquisition fee
The dealer doesn't determine how tax is applied. The tax is calculated where you register the vehicle. BMWFS can help the dealer with any calculation.
Your calculations are correct, with those assumptions.
I'm hoping you can help clear up a few things for me as well as your thoughts on the deal. Shopping 2019 X3 m40i in 77004 (Houston, TX). This is the current best offer I have, which they say is with a 59% residual, MF 0.00166:
I would be using the 10k/yr 36 mos term, so $1052/mos & $1447 down.
However, when I run the numbers, I come up ~$30 below them, which adds up to over $1000 over the course of the term. Here are my calculations below...What am I missing? Thank you in advance for your time & assistance!

If $1447 is the total amount due at signing, you can't subtract that entire amount from the Adjusted CAP (even though that's what they did in the column at right).
$1052 of that $1447 goes toward the first payment. Add that back into your CAP cost, and you should get the same number they do.

No.. 7% off, then deduct incentives
.00166 MF 56% residual for 36/15
Thanks. For 36/12K miles would it be 59% residual on a 2019 (58% on 2018). I'm also assuming the "Dealer Allowance Offer" of $2000 off MSRP would be just be part of the dealer discount to the price (i.e. included in the 7% calculation (and they'd need to come up with more than $2K to get to the 7% off MSRP))

Looking for incentives, MF and residual for a 2019 X3 Sdrive30i for 3 yr/12K per year. Please indicate if any lease incentives apply to a non-current BMW owner/lesse. I don’t qualify for owner loyalty type of incentives.

does the drive off amount look high and include anything which can be negotiated?
The only thing to negotiate is the money factor or the sale price. If they won't budge on the money factor, ask for $500 more off.
If you want less money upfront, ask them to roll the acquisition fee and dealer fee into the CAP cost. Of course, your payment will go up accordingly.

- Dealer discount at 11%
- Doesn't qualify for any current rebates and no down payment.

1) Can the acquisition fee added to the Cap Cost so that it's rolled into the monthly payment ?
2) We don't consider the FIRST lease payment in any of these line items right ? It's just an amount you owe along with other DAS items ?
2) Correct, it's just an amount you owe at lease signing.

MSRP $69,270.00
Negotiated $66,200.00
Discount 4.43%
Tax $4,137.50
Residual Value $40,869.30
Depreciation $25,330.70
Rent Charge (MF=0.00166) $6,398.46
Interest (APR) 3.98
Acquisition Fee $925.00
Monthly Depreciation $703.63
Monthly Tax $114.93
Monthly Acquisition Fee $25.69
Monthly Rent Charge $177.74
Lease $1,021.99
$1052 of that $1447 goes toward the first payment. Add that back into your CAP cost, and you should get the same number they do.
