Almost 10% off MSRP plus $2500 in rebates.
The only extras I see are $199 for NITRO and $449 doc fee.
I'd rather not put all that money upfront.
If you roll in the sales tax and $895 acquisition fee, the payment goes up to $605, but the upfront money drops to about $1500

Other than a $499 dealer fee, I don't see any extras or markups.
Base money factor and a pretty substantial discount.

Given the lease program you have to work with, this is a pretty good deal from the dealer.
I'd consider adding AudiCare maintenance program.
The cost is $869+tax, but it adds 1% to your residual, raising your payment to about $539/mo. (assuming you roll the cost into the CAP)
$14/mo makes your actual cost about $500. That's cheap for three years of maintenance.

Ask the dealer for the selling price, and get an itemized list of the $4500. That's where the dealer can add junk to the deal for extra profit.

I’ve been looking at Q5 leases in the New York metro area. Do you have a sense of whether or not October is a good month to lease a 2018 P+ with Tech? I see from reading this forum that residuals were previously higher. I’m hearing from the local dealers that it’s possible to get a significant discount off MSRP on the 2018, but I’m curious how the total lease payments might look later this year when 2019s start arriving at a (presumably) higher residual. Many thanks for the thoughts here.

Hi, I realize this thread is related to lease questions, but I was wondering what the best APR I could expect with excellent credit when financing a 2018 Q5 Premium Plus? Is the minimum APR higher on the Summer of Audi Q5 PP? Looking for 60 month terms in Chicago area (60642).

They said they can't tell me what APR I qualify for until they run my credit, and they said even at that point it's all based on what Audi Financing says and that they have no influence on my APR. Is that true? Besides destination fee, they're telling me another $390 in fees so I'm going to ask for a breakdown of those as well.

I've been quoted a sale price of $45,500 (before $1,500 rebate) on the SoA PP Q5 w/ 19" wheels, cold weather package, and some other smaller addons (MSRP = $50,450), but their estimations of monthly payments are using 5.8% financing which seems high given I have excellent credit (+820)

    Thank you!

It's impossible to know what might happen, next month. The deals could be better, or if inventory is down, they might be a lot worse.

Yes... credit tier will make a difference.
That said, dealers can markup the rate for extra profit, and many will do so.

The base rate for top tier credit is 4.79% APR (up to 60 months).
It looks like they are marking up the rate by 1%.

Many thanks for the response. I guess I'm trying to figure out if it makes sense to wait for a 2019 or if the deals will be better on 2018s. Is there a general rule of thumb around the best times of year to lease a car vs. others? Are residuals higher in the first few months of a model year vs. when the last ones are on the lot?

Residuals will be higher early in the model year, but money factors will also be higher, and incentives will be lower.

The 2019 lease payments will be higher than the 2018 models.

Audis don't lease very well, generally. If you are waiting for them to be cheap, relative to the competition, or relative to MSRP, that may never happen.

Can you help me evaluate this lease deal for Q5 2018 Premium Plus tech. zip 08820.
    4K initial payment ( $3735 towards cap reduction + Acquisition fee 895 + registration 275 + Doc fee 496).
Monthly $500 this include sales tax. So, i'll have to pay $4500 including first month payment, to take the car out and $500 then on. Audi Care and other options are additional. Residual value 26,727. Adjusted Cap cost $41,817. MSRP 50430. 12K miles per year. 39 months lease. Is this good deal? Thanks in advance.

    .00147 MF and 53% residual

The $1500 rebate goes towards your upfront charges (which is why they don't add up to $4000)
With that adjusted CAP, I get $488/mo.

Makes me wonder if they marked up your rate to .00165 MF?

Do you have the selling price?

It's a reasonable deal for a Q5 lease. I'd ask about the money factor, and tell them your math shows $488/mo. Other than that, no issues.

12% off sticker is decent; is that before or after the incentives are applied?

What does the $3K out of pocket cover? I'd guess that some of it is to reduce the CAP cost, to get the payment under $600/mo

12% is after the incentive I believe since at the time I asked him, he said there were no incentives available. He told me he's just doing 12% off the sticker price. 3k down was just a general down payment my parents set as their max.

In CA, we recommend only paying the first payment and DMV costs, up front. Leave the rest of the money in the bank. You'll have a higher payment, but won't risk that other cash if the car is stolen or totaled.

Hello. Could I get MF for 36 mo, 12,000 miles, excellent credit, on Q5 Premium Plus for Baltimore MD area. Retail $50,765 with $5,017 discount and $2,500 lease rebate (not sure what this means because it wasn't included in the discount.

    Hello!

Could I please get the MF and RV% for 36 mo, 10,000 miles (and 12,000 if it's different), excellent credit, on each Q5 trim in Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont? If the other New England states are any different I'm interested in them as well. Thank you very much in advance!
