SQ5 - .00194 and 65% (P+) or 64% (Prestige)

Thanks everyone, right or wrong I was given this information yesterday for a Q5 and a SQ5 Prestige w/ 36 months / 10K per year.

Q5 - .00255 and 59%

SQ5 - .00191 and 65%

This is for New York.

It seems odd that the Q5 would have such a big difference.

Can someone confirm the rates for NY State?

And I'm coming from BMW so not sure how Audi works in terms of targeting a good price, is it possible to get the invoice price for a Prestige and how much under / over invoice should I target?

We don't have the April Audi numbers.

We usually suggest 6% off sticker for Audi.

Audi does have an MSD program, but I don't have the details.

.00191 MF and 64%/63% residual

36 months is the best term, though the payment will be lower at 42 months.

6% off is a rule of thumb. I wouldn't apply it universally.

We don't have any pricing guidelines for the 2018's at this time. They are too new, I suspect, to see much discount from sticker.

Let us know what your local dealers are willing to do.

I got estimated lease costs for Q5 2018 from 2 different audi dealers in California with money factor 0.00241. I believe it is too high, but they claim this is the best they can do now and maybe in May the rates will change. Does it make sense?
Also I understood that the sales are not going that great.

.00191 is the base rate for 36 month leases. They are marking up the rate for extra profit, assuming you have top tier credit.

My understanding is that the financial terms may change on monthly basis. Would you recommend waiting till May for even more favorable terms?

Hi! I am looking to place a custom order for an SQ5 and take delivery in July or August. I was wondering what is the best time frame to place an order at the dealership, and when to negotiate the lease terms. Is it generally build, negotiate the lease terms, then order, or is it best to wait till the dealer has the car in hand to negotiate the lease? Sorry- new to this.

Dealers are always willing to deal on cars in stock.

However, for a specialty vehicle like the SQ5, my opinion is you should get exactly what you want - color, options, etc., even if it costs more.

You should negotiate the price when you place the order.
