Hello - I went to a VW dealer last night and looked at the numbers for an SEL AWD at 36/15k. One thing they said, which I thought was odd, was that the sticker price on the Tiguan was dropped by VW, so instead of a $34,985 sticker price, the new sticker price is $33,525. Can anyone confirm this?

Also, they told me the MF was .00110 - is that true? If not, are they required to honor the actual MF for the vehicle?

Here's a breakdown of the fee structure and final monthly price:
Market Value Selling Price: $33,525
Discount: $1,725
Adjusted Price: $31,800
Document Fee: $100
Tax: $1,060.13
Non Tax Fees: $546.50
Net Price: $33,506.63
RV: 59%
MF: .00110
Final Monthly: $409/month
Due at signing: $2,006 (tax, plates, first payment)

Does that look accurate?

Only difference is the lease cash - $250 for SE or $800 for SEL

AWD get a 0.00055 MF where the FWD is 0.0009 but lease cash is lower ($800 vs $1300), correct?

To clarify, lease cash on SE AWD is only $250; for the SEL, it's $800

Ok so 1 more question in regards to pricing. I have read the se trim level has been cut by vw by 2130. Do you know if the dealer is supposed to set this new price as the msrp? Do they resticker their inventory?

Also the pricing on Edmunds. Does this reflect the price drop vw has instituted or do I need to take more off the tmv so I know where I stand when I negotiate a lease.

I know you don't work for vw but I didn't know if there are certain rules dealers are supposed to follow when the manufacturer does a price reduction like this.

My fear is i will go on thinking I am getting a good deal and wind up paying the new reduced msrp.

Any insite is appreciated. Thanks.

Based on news articles, all vehicles will received new MSRP stickers. Right now most car websites have not been updated with the new price. However the VW website does show the reduced price. Hope that help.

Thank you for that. I may just go into the dealership and let them know I am aware of the price reduction vw has given and go from there. At least if they know I am aware they cannot use that price reduction as a discount they are giving. Thanks you all.

Destination is part of the MSRP, and not a "fee".

Acquisition fee is charged by the leasing bank.

The two are not related.
